In the heart of her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl, Virginia Giuffre lays bare a horrifying revelation from Jeffrey Epstein’s private island: at just 18, she was savagely beaten and strangled into unconsciousness by a “famous prime minister”—widely tied through prior court filings to former Israeli leader Ehud Barak—who reveled in her terror, laughing as she bled and begged for her life. Giuffre recounts emerging battered, bleeding from her mouth and worse, only for Epstein to dismiss her pleas with cold indifference: “That’s part of the job.” This brutal assault, she writes, marked the breaking point—the raw spark that finally drove her to escape the trafficking nightmare at 19 and expose the elite predators who treated her as disposable. From beyond the grave, her unflinching words strip away the veil of power. How many more lives were shattered before justice caught up?

In the heart of her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, published in October 2025, Virginia Giuffre lays bare a horrifying revelation from Jeffrey Epstein’s private island: at just 18, she was savagely beaten and strangled into unconsciousness by a “famous prime minister”—widely tied through prior court filings to former Israeli leader Ehud Barak—who reveled in her terror, laughing as she bled and begged for her life.

Giuffre recounts the 2002 incident in raw detail: sent to a cabana on Little St. James, forced sex turned violently brutal. The politician repeatedly choked her until she blacked out, deriving sadistic pleasure from her fear and pleas. Emerging battered—bleeding from her mouth and elsewhere—she begged Epstein never to send her back. The financier allegedly dismissed her trauma coldly: “That’s part of the job” or “You’ll get that sometimes.” Despite her desperation, Epstein later flew her via the Lolita Express for a second, less violent encounter.

Giuffre anonymized the attacker as the “Prime Minister,” citing fear of retaliation. Multiple sources, including NDTV, The New York Post, and fact-checking reports, link this to earlier court filings from her 2015 lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell and related litigation, where she accused former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak of sexual assault. Barak, who had financial ties to Epstein and visited his properties, has repeatedly and categorically denied any wrongdoing or involvement in trafficking, calling the allegations false.

This assault, Giuffre wrote, shattered illusions of protection, becoming the breaking point that fueled her escape from Epstein’s network at age 19. Co-authored with journalist Amy Wallace before Giuffre’s suicide in April 2025 at age 41, the memoir preserves her voice amid decades of trauma—from childhood abuse to years as Epstein’s “sex slave.”

Giuffre’s testimony helped convict Maxwell and secure Prince Andrew’s 2022 civil settlement (without liability admission). Yet her account highlights elite impunity: no charges arose from claims against high-profile figures.

From beyond the grave, her unflinching words strip away the veil of power, demanding scrutiny of Epstein’s circle. How many more lives were shattered before justice caught up—and why do some allegations remain unresolved?
