When people talked about Yu Menglong, the public once saw her as the embodiment of purity and hard work. But newly leaked documents have completely flipped the narrative: she wasn’t only physically attacked – she was mentally manipulated until she became a “puppet” in the hands of a powerful group, and ultimately pushed to the edge of becoming “flesh” – a term implying total destruction of both body and dignity.

Internal documents (allegedly from a major entertainment company’s server) reveal that Yu Menglong signed multiple contract addendums with draconian clauses: banning disclosure of any company information even after termination, requiring attendance at private “investor meetings,” and facing fines up to 500 million yuan for breaches. One internal email even states clearly: “Keep her under control. If she resists, cut the puppet’s strings.”
After the high-floor “fall” incident, Yu Menglong was sent abroad for “rest.” According to close sources, she was under 24/7 surveillance, her phone confiscated, and all family contact routed through intermediaries. An anonymous witness revealed: “She once told me it felt like her body no longer belonged to her – it was just flesh for others to control.”
What’s truly frightening is that the case didn’t end with Yu Menglong. Several other female artists who worked with the same company have begun showing signs of “temporary disappearance” or suddenly adopting much more low-profile lifestyles. Some of their old accounts posted cryptic messages like “don’t trust the spotlight” before being locked.
On Douyin and private forums, users are resharing old clips of Yu Menglong – from her radiant smiles to the hollow look in her eyes during her final interviews. The stark contrast only deepens public pain and outrage.
At present, local authorities and major media outlets remain completely silent. No new investigation updates, no health reports on Yu Menglong. But the underground wave on social media is growing stronger: millions are demanding the truth be exposed and the “puppet” be freed from its strings.
The Yu Menglong case is no longer an individual tragedy – it’s a deep cut into public trust toward the entire Chinese entertainment industry. When the puppet’s strings are finally severed, the flesh that remains will tell stories no one dares to hear in full. And perhaps that’s the most terrifying part of all.
